Appendix B. List of Identifiers

When you operate PFM - Agent for Virtual Machine or extract performance data from the Store database of PFM - Agent for Virtual Machine, an identifier indicating PFM - Agent for Virtual Machine is required in some cases. The table below shows the PFM - Agent for Virtual Machine identifiers.

Commands, etc. Product ID 5 A product ID is part of a service ID. A service ID is required when you use a command to check the system configuration of Performance Management or to back up performance data. Service key agt5 or VM A service key is required when you use a command to start or stop PFM - Agent for Virtual Machine. ODBC Product type identifier VIRTUALMACHINE A product type identifier is required when you use an SQL statement to extract data. For details, see the chapter that explains linkage to ODBC-compatible application programs in the Job Management Partner 1/Performance Management User's Guide.
