Job Management Partner 1/Performance Management - Agent Option for Virtual Machine Description, User's Guide and Reference
To restore the settings information of PFM - Agent for Virtual Machine, first check the prerequisite conditions listed below, and then copy the backup file to its original location. The backed-up settings information file overwrites the settings information file on the host.
If PFM - Agent for Virtual Machine is running on a logical host, the service definition information file on the physical host and in the environment folder is overwritten.
- Prerequisite conditions
- PFM - Agent for Virtual Machine must already be installed.
- PFM - Agent for Virtual Machine services must be stopped.
- Note
- When you are restoring the settings information of PFM - Agent for Virtual Machine, the product version number of the environment from which the backup was acquired must completely match that of the environment to be restored. For details about product version numbers, see the release note. Examples of situations in which the settings information can and cannot be restored are given below.
