Memory Paging

Overview

The Memory Paging report displays minute-by-minute historical information about memory usage over the last hour. The information is displayed as a table and a line graph.

Note:

This report cannot be used on Linux.

Fields

Field name	Explanation
Alloc Swap %	Percentage of number of megabytes in swap area in use (%).
Cache Read %	Percentage of cache read processing of read processing (%).
Cache Write %	Percentage of cache write processing of write processing (%).
Free Mem %	Percentage of available physical memory (%) (megabytes).
Major Faults	Number of page faults that invoked physical I/O.
Minor Faults	Number of page faults that did not invoke physical I/O.
Page Ops/sec	Frequency of page-in and page-out processing operations (number of times per second).
Swap-In Ops	Number of swap-in processing operations that occurred.
Swap-Out Ops	Number of swap-out processing operations that occurred.
Total Page Scans	Number of pages checked by page scans.
Total Swaps	Number of swap processing operations that occurred.
