1.4.1 Protection Managerをインストールするホストの条件

Protection Managerのプログラムが動作するOSおよび対象製品を次の表に示します。

Protection Manager for Oracle

Protection Manager for SQL，Protection Manager for ExchangeおよびProtection Manager for Oracleは，Protection Managerのオプション製品です。これらのオプション製品を利用するには，同じホストにProtection Manager Copy Controllerがインストールされている必要があります。Windowsの場合に，各オプション製品に必要なProtection Manager Copy Controllerを次に示します。

Protection Manager 06–40より前のバージョンでは，Protection Manager Copy Controller（32ビット版）をインストールしてください。

Protection Managerをインストールするホストには，次に示すアプリケーションがインストールされ，セットアップされている必要があります。

RAID Manager
Protection Manager は内部的にRAID ManagerのCLI機能を使用しています。したがって，RAID Managerが使用できるようにあらかじめセットアップしておく必要があります。

論理ボリュームマネージャー
Windows 標準のLDM^※1，またはVeritas Volume Manager for Windows^※2
