B.3 Local host monitoring history output timing
This subsection explains the times at which HA Monitor outputs local host monitoring history.
-
When HA Monitor starts on the local host
HA Monitor issues a message reporting that collection of monitoring history has started.
-
When the local host has recovered from a slowdown that lasted longer than the amount of time set for collection of host monitoring history
A message indicating occurrence of slowdown is issued.
-
When the local host has been restarted after hot standby processing resulting from a slowdown of the local host
A message indicating occurrence of a slowdown is issued.
-
When HA Monitor on the local host has terminated
A message indicating that collection of monitoring history has ended is issued.
The following figure shows an example of local host monitoring history output timing.
|
The following explains the local host status at the times indicated by numbers in the figure:
-
HA Monitor on the local host starts.
HA Monitor starts monitoring the local host and starts collection of monitoring history (ID: 0301).
-
A slowdown occurs that lasts longer than the amount of time set for collection of host monitoring history.
-
The slowdown status is resolved before the host failure monitoring time is reached.
HA Monitor on the local host collects monitoring history (ID: 0303) when the local host has recovered from the slowdown.
-
HA Monitor on the local host is terminated.
HA Monitor on the local host terminates monitoring of the local host and collects monitoring history (ID: 0302).
