6.25.5 Testing the system load

After you have tested hot standby processing, test the system load. Run the system in the same manner as for actual operations to check for any problem with the host failure monitoring time or the server failure monitoring time specified in the definition files.

To test the system load, use monitoring history. For details about the monitoring history, see 7.6 Operation for preventing failures caused by heavy load.

If you perform operations in unbalanced or reduced mode after hot standby processing in a mutual hot-standby configuration or a multi-standby configuration, confirm that no slowdown occurs during operation with as much load as during actual operations and that the system throughput and response performance requirements are satisfied.

Once you finish testing the system load, checking of system operation is complete.
