4.1 Managing servers
HA Monitor runs in both active and standby systems. The two HA Monitors control server status by communicating with each other regarding the startup and termination statuses of the active and standby servers. This section explains how HA Monitor controls servers.
For servers in the monitor mode, you can achieve program-level control by using the program management function. For details about managing programs, see 4.7 Managing programs (monitor mode).
