2.4 Inheriting shared resources
This section describes inheritance of shared resources for hot standby using HA Monitor.
Shared resources are the resources that are shared by the active and standby systems. During the hot standby operation, the shared resources are disconnected from the system resulting in a failure and then connected to the standby system. This processing involving disconnection and connection is called inheriting.
