B.1 Server monitoring history output timing
This subsection explains the times at which HA Monitor outputs active server monitoring history.
-
When the active server starts on the local host
HA Monitor issues a notification message that collection of server monitoring history has started.
-
When HA Monitor has received an operation report from the active server after the amount of time set for collection of server monitoring history
A message indicating occurrence of a slowdown is issued.
-
When a failure has occurred on the active server
A message indicating occurrence of slowdown and a message indicating that collection of monitoring history has ended are issued.
-
When the active server or HA Monitor on the local host has terminated
A message indicating that collection of monitoring history has ended is issued.
The following figure shows an example of server monitoring history output timing.
The following explains the server status at the times indicated by numbers in the figure:
-
The active server starts on the local host.
HA Monitor starts monitoring the active server and collection of monitoring history (ID: 0201).
-
A slowdown occurs that lasts longer than the amount of time set for collection of server monitoring history.
-
The slowdown status is resolved before the server failure monitoring time is reached.
HA Monitor collects monitoring history (ID: 0203) when it has received the server's operation report.
-
The active server is terminated.
HA Monitor terminates monitoring of the active server and collects monitoring history (ID: 0202).
