5.3 Evaluation of server configuration
After you have evaluated the hot-standby configuration, you must evaluate the server configuration. Because the server configuration determines the number of resources required, you must determine the server configuration before evaluating the resources configuration.
The server is the unit of hot standby processing. You can allocate one program to one server or multiple programs to one server.
The evaluation of your server configuration involves determining the following:
