4.5 Managing servers and hosts when using the multi-standby function
The multi-standby function provides multiple standby servers for a single active server. By providing multiple standby servers, you can protect against system failures while the primary system is being recovered from a failure.
When the multi-standby function is used, the server start and termination conditions, as well as host reset, differ from when the multi-standby function is not used. This section describes the differences depending on whether the multi-standby function is used.
