3.7.1 Changing the maximum number of servers
The default for the maximum number of servers that can run concurrently on a single host is 128. When you use HA Monitor Extension, you can increase this number to more than 128, which enables you to apply one hot-standby configuration to a large system in which more than 128 servers run concurrently.

(1) Maximum number of servers that can be specified
When you use HA Monitor Extension, you can specify any value from 128 to 512 as the maximum number of servers that can run concurrently on a single host.
(2) Required environment settings
You use the servmax operand in the HA Monitor environment settings to specify the maximum number of servers that can run concurrently on a single host.
You must also execute the HA Monitor environment setup command (monsetup -ex command) to enable the functions of HA Monitor Extension.
