            when the base table was defined by using the CREATE TABLE statement. Therefore, the ALTER
            TABLE statement cannot be used to change the maximum number of

                  If you want to specify the maximum number of chunks, delete the table
                     definition and then re-define the table. For details about the
                     procedure, see Changing a single-chunk table to a multi-chunk

                  If you do not need to specify the maximum number of chunks, delete the specification of the maximum number of chunks and then re-execute the ALTER TABLE statement.
