2.2.5 Operands related to PAM authentication (external authentication)

Specify the absolute path of the public key file used for password encryption. Specify this operand when using PAM authentication as the user authentication method. If you do not specify this operand, passwords will not be encrypted during PAM authentication. They will be sent from the HADB client to the HADB server as plain text.
