Some HiRDB commands place a resource in an appropriate lock mode automatically. Thus, when multiple programs (including UAPs) are executing concurrently, the user needs to check the command lock mode table and the UAP (SQL) lock table to determine the combination of lock modes. For details about the combinations of lock modes according to the SQL statements executed and the execution environment, see the HiRDB Version 9 UAP Development Guide.
