The following explains what is meant by element, character element, numeric element, and null element:
Element: Generic term that encompasses character elements, numeric elements, and null elements.
Character element: Element whose output format is a character string.
Numeric element: Element whose output format is a numeric value.
Null element: Element that contains no information.

#1: A title line is output at the top. The title line itself is not enclosed in double quotation marks (").

#2: Same as a numeric element for which no value is displayed.

#3: Same as a numeric element; displayed as is.

#4: Not applicable because there is no numeric element.

#5: If the comma is specified as the delimiter in the -C option, comma-separated elements are displayed.

#6: Not applicable because there is only one element.
