1.2 List of operation commands

The table below lists the operation commands used with HiRDB. Depending on the operation command, conditions might be applicable to Executor, HiRDB status, and Executing server machine. For details, see the description of each operation command.

Legend:
ANY: Can be executed whether or not HiRDB is active.
ACT: Can be executed only while HiRDB is active.
INA: Can be executed only while HiRDB is inactive.
SDS: In a HiRDB single server configuration, the command is executed on the server machine of the single server.
MGR: In a HiRDB parallel server configuration, the command is executed on the server machine where the system manager is located.

Note
A file that is specified in an operation command or utility that is executing must not be in use at the same time by another operation command, utility, or UAP; doing so will result in an error and cause the processing results to be invalidated.
