3.11.2 Acquiring information on the last unload log file to be specified (during database recovery)

To identify the last unload log file to be specified for the -l option of the pdrstr command, use the following procedure during database recovery.

Procedure
  1. Execute the pdlogswap -d sys command to swap the current system log file.
  2. If the automatic log unloading facility is being used, confirm that the system log unloading process has ended. If the automatic log unloading facility is not being used or is stopped, unload the logs manually.
The unload log file created here becomes the last unload log file to be input into the pdrstr command.
