Executing the mcftdmpqu command causes messages to be successively output onto a dump file. The following figure shows the format of a dump file.

The dump file format shown in Figure A-1 is explained:

• Eye catcher (4 bytes)
  Indicates which is the output message, a message for input queues or for output queues.
  ITQ: Message for input queues
  OTQ: Message for output queues
  
• MCF area (960 bytes)
  Indicates the area used by MCF.
  
• Message information (512 bytes)
  Indicates the area that stores information about output messages. It can be referenced by the structure dc_mcf_dump_info. Figure A-2 shows the format of the structure.
  
• Segment length (4 bytes), segment
  Indicates the area giving the length of a segment, and the segment having the indicated segment length. A segment length and a segment makes up one set, which is repeated as many time as the number of segment used.
  
• Message end identifier (4 bytes)
  Indicates the area showing the end of a message, which stores NULL.
